Club Sports at Oklahoma State
Welcome to Club Sports
OSU club sports are a fun way to compete against other colleges and universities in various sports. Club sports are recognized student organizations at OSU that can be competitive, recreational, instructional and/or social.
OSU club sports differ from varsity athletics in that they are not scholarship based. They are responsible for their own administration, expenses, and management. Club sports are required to have a faculty/staff advisor and are responsible for scheduling their own practices, games and tournaments.
Club sports at OSU are members of the OSU Club Sport Council, which acts as an advisory board for all clubs. The Department of Wellness assists with advising, facilities, event planning and finances, while providing some monetary support. Clubs can subsidize the cost of their club activities by charging dues or participating in fundraising activities.
