Wellness

The Department of Wellness offers professional sports performance training to athletes age 8-17 to measurably improve in a variety of areas.

Youth Training Sessions

The Department of Wellness Strength and Conditioning program at OSU recognizes an opportunity to serve the students, university staff and Cowboy community. This program strives to instill each participant with improved athletic ability through hard work, camaraderie, practice, athletic training and competition. $Prices Vary

Prices vary depending on Colvin member status. Child does not have to be a member - an active parent/guardian membership is  accepted. Each block requires seperate purchase in order to participate.

2-3days per week

Monday, Wednesday, Friday or Tuesday, Thursday blocks available. No classes will be held on major OSU/local holidays or breaks.

Youth Sports Performance Main

This summer's program will be split into two sections, U11 (8 - 11 years) and JV (12 - 15 years). JV will include all elements of U11 with some progressed modifications. Register here.

U11: Monday, Wednesday, Friday: 9:30 - 10:30 a.m.
JV: Monday, Wednesday, Friday: 10:45 - 11:45 a.m.

Block 1 Dates: May 27 - June 30
Block 2 Dates: July 6 - 31

Small Group

Small Group will be split into two sections, U11 (8 - 11 years) and JV (12 - 15 years). JV will include all elements of U11 with some progressed modifications. Register here.

U11: Tuesday and Thursday: 2 – 3 p.m.
JV: Tuesday and Thursday: 3:15 – 4:15 p.m.

Block 1: May 28 – June 30
Block 2: July 7 – 30

Olympic Lift

The Olympic Lift section will be one section and JV (12 - 15 years) only. Register here.

Tuesday and Thursday: 10 - 11 a.m.
June 23 – July 16

Small Group

New this year, the YSP Small Group block offers participants more individualized training in a smaller group setting. All experience levels welcome. Register here.

Olympic Lift

Olympic Lift is also a new program being implemented into YSP this year.  This block offers a smaller class size while focusing on olympic-style weight lifting movements led by trained staff. Olympic lift is geared toward 13 - 17 year olds. Register here.

ACL/injury prehab, correct muscular imbalances
