The Region IX Strategic Prevention Framework Partnerships for Success (SPF-PFS) grant is funded by the Oklahoma Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services (ODMHSAS)

The Region IX SPF-PFS grant works with Creek County as a priority community for Nonmedical Use of Prescription Drugs. SPF-PFS projects may work on the following initiatives:

  • Work with local media to produce media releases that educate about prescription drugs
  • Work with coalitions to create and implement comprehensive evidence-based strategies around prevention efforts
  • Provide training to local coalitions and law enforcement
  • Work with law enforcement to promote Drug Drop Box locations and use
  • Encourage proper disposal of prescription drugs
  • Promote National Drug Takeback Days
  • Educate Public on Non-Medical Use of Prescription Drugs
  • Promote Naloxone drug reversal kits

Coalition Meeting:

Creek County Community Partnership meets at noon on the second Tuesday of each month at the Sapulpa Library Annex, 15 N. Poplar, Sapulpa, OK.
