Region 9 Regional Prevention Coordinator (RPC)

The Region IX Regional Prevention Coordinator grant is funded by the Oklahoma Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services (ODMHSAS).
The Region IX RPC grant works in Creek and Okmulgee Counties.
The RPC grant works on the prevention of underage drinking. Within the two county areas, the RPC:
- Works with law enforcement to perform Alcohol Compliance Checks
- Provides Responsible Beverage Sales and Service Training to alcohol vendors/servers (in conjunction with Alcohol Beverage Licensing Enforcement)
- Hosts Too Much To Lose (2M2L) high school youth groups to prevent substance abuse
- Provides Training to local coalitions, youth groups, and law enforcement
- Produces media for local media outlets that educate about prevention initiatives
- Works with coalitions to create and implement comprehensive evidence-based strategies around prevention efforts
Coalition Meetings:
The Okmulgee County Consortium meets the first Wednesday of each month at Noon at 114 N. Grand, Suite 219, Okmulgee, OK 74447
Creek County Community Partnership meets the second Tuesday of each month at the Sapulpa Library Annex, 15 N. Poplar, Sapulpa, OK
Creek County Substance Abuse Prevention Committee meets the third Tuesday of each month at the Sapulpa Salvation Army, 1721 S. Hickory Street, Sapulpa OK. Phone Number: 918-756-1248
