Outdoor Pool Memberships
Full Summer Pool Pass - Valid through September 2*
- Children (ages 4-11) = $75
- Ages 12 & up = $100

- If you are purchasing multiple memberships in one transaction, you will receive a 20% discount.
Day Pass
- Ages 4+ = $8
*The Outdoor Pool may remain open through part of the fall semester, weather permitting.
Those who have an active membership to the Colvin have access to the Outdoor Pool. If you do not have a membership, you can purchase a Pool Day Pass (ages 4+) for $8 upon your arrival. Day passes can be purchased directly at the Outdoor Pool gate during open hours.
Pool Rules and Regulations
- Pool usage is PROHIBITED without Department of Wellness lifeguard supervision.
- Appropriate swim attire must be worn at all times while swimming. When the appropriateness of swimwear is in question, Department of Wellness staff will make final determination.
- In an effort to promote a safe, family friendly environment the following behaviors are PROHIBITED in the pool area: running on the pool deck, rough play, diving, tobacco products, vaping, alcoholic products, glass containers, the use of profanity, extreme public displays of affection, abuse or unauthorized usage of pool equipment, climbing over whirlpool walls or pool partitions, abusive behavior, and harassment of other patrons.
- To ensure a hygienic pool environment, patrons are strongly encouraged to shower before entering the pool. Children that are not toilet trained are required to wear a swim diaper with an article of clothing covering. Baby changing stations are available in the changing rooms. Please refrain from changing your child's diaper on the pool deck. Also, please refrain from gum chewing, spitting, nasal discharge, urination or defecation in pool gutters or on pool deck.
- Parents must be present in the outdoor pool facility providing constant supervision of their children (ages 15 years and younger) at all times. Young children and inexperienced swimmers are strongly encouraged to use U.S. Coast Guard approved personal floatation devices when using the pool.
- When choosing to use a personal floatation device, patrons are strongly encouraged to use U.S. Coast Guard approved life jackets in both indoor and outdoor pools. Large recreational floating devices are PROHIBITED (i.e. floating lounges, floating chairs).
- Lap lanes are to be used for lap swimming only or for special programming.
- Patrons with open wounds, large bandages or any symptoms of communicable disease will be prevented from entering the pool
- In event of severe weather, lifeguarding staff will clear the pool and direct patrons to shelter. This includes heavy rain, thunder and lightning, and tornadoes.
- Lifeguards are authorized to enforce all safety rules and facility policies.
- Please contact a member of the staff should an accident, injury or related incident occur. Your assistance in promoting safety is greatly appreciated.
Whirlpool Rules:
- Maximum of 8 swimmers allowed in whirlpool at a time. Must swim with the current at all times.
- To avoid potential injury to yourself and fellow swimmers, hanging on the sides of the whirlpool is discouraged and climbing over the walls of the whirlpool or pool partitions is prohibited.

Parking:
Pool users may park in lot 80 as long as they purchase a permit from the Colvin kiosk. Lot 93 may be used with a parking permit from Parking and Transportation. Lot 93 is free and does not require a permit after 5 p.m. on weekdays and on weekends.
