Wellness Wednesday: How does your garden grow?

Join Casey Hentges, Host of “Oklahoma Gardening”, for tips on growing healthy herbs and ornamental plants.  The presentation will focus on which plants grow best in our climate and how to improve your garden soil.  Instructions on how to build a vertical herb garden suited for small spaces will be provided.
Before joining OSU as the host of “Oklahoma Gardening”, Casey Hentges served as director of horticulture at the Myriad Botanical Gardens in Oklahoma City. She also worked for ValleyCrest Landscaping Companies, where she was responsible for the management of the landscape at the Gaylord Texan Resort and Convention Center. In addition, she served as the Canadian County horticulture/4-H youth development educator for the OSU Cooperative Extension for five years.

Lunch is provided. (Vegetarian and gluten free meals are available upon request at registration). To register call 405-744-WELL (9355) or email wellness@okstate.edu.  No shows will be charged $10 to bursar account.  Registration/cancelation deadline is March 17, 2017, at 12:00 p.m.    
This program is open to OSU-Stillwater benefits-eligible employees and community Department of Wellness members.
