The Department of Wellness offers nutrition counseling for OSU students, faculty, and staff. Nutrition counseling examines individual eating habits and their relationship to health and disease.
A registered and licensed dietitian will assist you in the development of a practical meal plan to meet your specific dietary needs.

How Do I Get Started?
8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
The initial meeting will be an assessment of your current food intake and nutrient needs. You may also be asked to keep a food log between visits.

Faculty and Staff: $25/Session
Accepted methods of payment include cash, check, credit, or bursar.
How long is a session?
Each session is 50 minutes.
Where do I go for my appointment?
Please check in at the front desk of the Seretean Wellness Center, located at 1514 Hall of Fame.
What if I need to cancel an appointment?
A 24-hour notice is required for cancellation of appointments, or there will be a $15 missed appointment fee. Cancellations must be made during normal business hours and cancellations are accepted by phone only at (405) 744-6927.
Will Insurance Cover the Cost?
We will provide you an invoice. It is your responsibility to submit the invoice to your insurance company.

Elizabeth Lohrman, registered and licensed dietitian, received her B.S. and M.S. in Nutritional Sciences from Ohio University. Certified by the Oklahoma State Board of Medical Licensure and Supervision, she is a member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, SCAN, and the Oklahoma Eating Disorder Association. As coordinator of nutrition services for the Oklahoma State University Department of Wellness, she assists and advises students, faculty, and staff about good health and disease prevention by focusing on turning positive nutritional habits into life-long commitments. She counsels individuals for a variety of health issues including eating disorders, weight management, diabetes, and cardiovascular disease. Among the programs offered at the Seretean Wellness Center, Ms. Lohrman has developed and implemented a cooking series to teach people how to prepare foods using heart-healthy fats and reduced sodium and cholesterol.
Abby Stover, Registered Dietitian, received her B.S. and M.S. in Nutritional Sciences at Oklahoma State University. She is certified by the Oklahoma State Board of Medical Licensure and Supervision, a member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, the Weight Management dietitians practice group, and holds a certificate of training in Adult Weight Management. She previously served as the North Central District Dietetic Association (NCDDA) President. In 2012, Abby was recognized by the Oklahoma Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics as the Young Dietitian of the Year. Abby delivers a variety of nutrition presentations to groups and departments on campus. She counsels OSU faculty, staff, and students on a variety of health concerns including weight management, heart health, and diabetes. Her passion for nutrition helps encourage her clients to meet their personal nutrition goals and achieve a lifestyle of wellness.
