Healthy Cooking Demonstrations
Fall 2008

Join professional Chef, Lisa Becklund, at the OSU Seretean Wellness Center for a Heart Healthy Cooking Demonstration Series. A variety of recipes will be shared, all of which are bursting with flavor and good for the heart too! The cost of each course includes the demonstration, recipes, and taste testing of each meal. Early registrations are encouraged as seating is limited and these classes are very popular.

We hope to see you this fall!

Classes will be held from 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm at the Seretean Wellness Center Kitchen (1514 W. Hall of Fame).
Cost is $20 per class.

Daily Health Tip

Healthy Breakfast Burrito

For a healthy version of a breakfast burrito, stuff an 8" whole wheat flour tortilla with 1/2 cup egg substitute (scrambled), 1 oz. reduced fat cheese, 2 Tbsp. salsa, and 1 cup sautéed chopped green peppers, tomatoes and onions -a delicious low fat, high fiber, nutrient rich meal. For bonus vegetable servings also add chopped spinach, mushrooms and red pepper!
